Residential Remediation

Working with clients to implement remediation services at homes and commercial buildings in urban, suburban, and rural communities

Sevenson has extensive experience in residential remediation. We understand the core principles and practices of working with homeowners and residents of affected properties. A sound community relations plan is vital to the successful completion of a residential remediation project. Establishment of systematic lines of communication among affected parties (federal, state, and local governments, community leaders, police, fire, hospital, rescue services) and, most importantly, homeowners and area residents, are critical for a successful outcome. Sevenson works with clients to develop and support the implementation of these plans. When clear and effective communication exists among stakeholders, clients, and Sevenson’s project teams, work proceeds smoothly and is completed on schedule and within budget.

Site restoration is an important component of residential remediation. Sevenson makes sure that neighborhoods impacted by waste removal operations are restored to pre-existing conditions. Typical restoration work includes placing clean backfill material; applying clean topsoil, seed, and/or sod; vegetal plantings and ground covers; utility replacement; roadway paving; driveway and sidewalk repairs; and other landscape features. Sevenson has successfully remediated thousands of residential and commercial properties across the country.
