For over 40 years, Sevenson has been a respected industry provider of solidification and stabilization services, executing remediation work at former Superfund, RCRA, manufactured gas plant (MGP), and additional contaminated sites throughout the United States. Sevenson implements both in-situ and ex-situ solidification and stabilization using traditional and customized equipment, including excavators, pugmills, rotary attachments and caisson/auger soil mixing units.

Sevenson routinely updates its fleet of state-of-the-art ISS resources, supplementing the company’s inventory of heavy civil and marine construction, excavation, and dredging equipment. Recent equipment acquisitions include two BAUER Gruppe GmbH BG 45 BS 9 Premium Line rotary drilling rigs; one RTG 27S drilling rig; one RTG 22S drill rig; and five automated 45 cubic meter Containerized Mixing Systems (CMS). The equipment is multifunctional, easy to mobilize, and can be assembled efficiently on construction sites. Utilizing this equipment Sevenson can drill up to 110 ft BGS.

Sevenson performs in-house solidification/stabilization treatability studies at its state-of-the-art environmental laboratory. The laboratory evaluates proposed site-specific treatment schemes to confirm that they meet treatment objectives established for a project. During treatability, our lab also evaluates alternative treatment schemes. These alternatives may be incorporated into full-scale applications on Sevenson’s projects. Through treatability studies, project schedules may be improved at reduced costs.

Sevenson often incorporates the MAECTITE® process, a proprietary stabilization process for RCRA metals which meets BDAT standards established by the EPA.
